Pewter Berry Spoon
The pewter Berry Spoon is popular for hostess gifts. The pierced bowl allows juices to drain -- perfect for fresh spring berries. Available in polished finish.
Almost all of ASL's pieces intended for individual eating ware are cast in antique molds. The oldest molds they have are two spoon molds from about 1650! While forks were not commonly used as personal table ware on this continent until after our Civil War, one of their forks is cast in an antique mold from around 1820 - it was considered a novelty item at that time! Specialty Utensils are perfect for the "foodie" or the historian in your life and are reproductions of pieces in use in Colonial and Early American households.
Made by hand at ASL Pewter Foundry.
